Last Saturday there was a heavy rain that covered my car in ice. So much that all 4 doors were frozen shut. Well, since then I've been gradually scraping the ice off my car. As of yesterday, my car now has a mohawk/icehawk.
The explanation is quite simple actually, I'm 5'5" with short arms, I can't reach that far with my scraper. So until I get my hands on something I can stand on, Jolly Roger (the car) will be sporting a hawk.
He is so punk-rock for a car that reminds people of hearses.

If you really want to get to it just open the door and stand on the sill.

Another short oppo. I'm not alone.

You ought to put a NSFW tag on a post with a PT Cruiser in it =p. Just kidding, how is a PT Cruiser from your perspective? I only ever hear people say it's "absolute crap" but I've always wanted to know more in depth what it's like. ALL things can be hooned is my philosophy!

After I posted this, on my way to work that occurred to me, :).

I will not deny that.

It gets funnier. My wife is 5'6", with longer arms. She puts things in high places because "that's where they belong". I have to jump to get the Rubbermaid tops on top of the fridge every morning.

I like it, personally. It may not be the 'sportiest' of cars, but it performs it's job faithfully. Mine is a '08, and MSN says the post-'06 ones are more reliable than the first gens; not sure why though because it's mostly a update.
The only issues I have with the car is; 1) because the trunk is curved in such a way, you can only stack items to a certain height (and boxes hate it back there). 2) the turning radius could be better, 3) my car hates the cold (it's was a Florida car).

I drove a PT for almost a decade until it spit out a spark plug. I miss it. It was a very capable car and a perfect family hauler. Like Zeno said it's no sports car. It was comfy and easy to work on.

Ahh, interesting. For some reason I want to see a race series with nothing but PT Crusiers. Something about a stripped out and caged cruiser sounds great to me.

If I had the money, which I don't, I would love to give my car a inch lift kit, a brush guard, rally lights, a storage rack for the roof, and if possible, a different engine that has more of a 'kick' to it. Possibly even make it AWD.
I know people aren't crazy for the cruiser, so I'll make them like it. :)

Don't worry, I get my revenge. Yesterday I told her I had no idea where our toddler was, and added that I hope she wasn't by the wood-burning stove. I let her stew a bit before I revealed I was holding her the whole time.

I'm the shortest on my dad's side of the family and the oldest of the grand kids/nephews/cousins. I get the short jokes from the cousins when they pass me in height. I just come back with the fact I can drive and don't have homework.

That's the spirit! In the mean time, just pretend that is how the car is and drive it accordingly lol.

I'm shorter than my dad and my younger brother (by 2 years), and obviously my wife. Taller than my mom and younger sister though.
Mostly everyone on my mom's side is short, unless the aunt/uncle's spouse has tall genes. My dad has the tall genes, I just didn't get them.

Oh, I do, :). I live on the edge of farmland, and I purposely take a 'shortcut' across a long, straight dirt road (I think 2.5 miles). It's a blast to drive.
